1. Introduction & Commitment to Privacy

MoveSnap ("we," "our," or "us") developed InvoiceVault as an offline-capable, privacy-first invoicing and quoting application designed for small businesses, contractors, tradies, and freelancers.

We believe your client relationships, accounting numbers, and trade pricing are confidential. This Privacy Policy details the technical safeguards and privacy principles governing your use of InvoiceVault on iOS and iPadOS.

2. Information Handled Strictly on Your Device

All functional invoicing data is stored locally in your device's sandboxed storage (and synced to your personal, encrypted Apple iCloud account only if you choose to enable iCloud Sync):

• Business & Client Profiles: Business names, registration numbers (ABN/EIN), contact emails, phone numbers, billing addresses, line items, and sequential invoice numbers are kept on-device.
• Payment & Banking Information: Bank details, BSB, Account Numbers, PayID, or custom payment links are stored locally solely to render them onto your customized PDF invoices. InvoiceVault is not a payment gateway; we never touch, route, hold, or inspect transaction funds.
• Camera & Photo Library: Camera and photo permissions are used exclusively to attach physical receipt photos to expense logs or upload your business logo. These images stay on your device and are never transmitted to MoveSnap.
• Biometric Security (Face ID / Touch ID): If enabled, app locking is handled entirely by Apple's secure LocalAuthentication framework. InvoiceVault never accesses, captures, or transmits biometric signatures.

3. In-App Purchases & Billing

Any optional in-app purchases (such as the Full Lifetime App Unlock) are processed directly by Apple via the StoreKit API.

MoveSnap never collects, views, or stores your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank account credentials. All financial transactions are subject to Apple’s App Store Terms and Privacy Policy.

5. Compliance with Global Privacy Frameworks

• GDPR / UK GDPR: You retain full rights to access, rectify, port, and erase your data. Because data is stored on-device, you execute your right to erasure immediately by clearing app records or uninstalling the app.
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA): We do not sell or share personal data as defined under California law.
• Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988): We handle all technical data in strict accordance with the APPs.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Because MoveSnap operates no remote user databases, you retain absolute custody of your data:

• Deleting an item: Deleting an invoice, quote, client, or receipt in the app permanently deletes it from local storage.
• Uninstalling the app: Removing InvoiceVault from your iPhone or iPad wipes all locally stored files immediately.
• iCloud Backups: If iCloud Sync was enabled, you can manage and delete your backups directly inside iOS Settings > [Your Apple ID] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
