Privacy Policy

ServiceVault is designed and published by MoveSnap as a completely local, privacy-first vehicle maintenance and fuel tracking application for Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad).

Unlike traditional software that relies on remote backends, ServiceVault employs a 100% offline, local-first architecture. It is built to function fully without any internet connection, ensuring that your automotive history, odometer readings, and financial receipts never leave your physical control.

We believe the most secure data is data that is never collected in the first place:

• No Accounts or Logins: You are never asked to register an email address, create a password, provide a phone number, or connect social profiles.
• Local Sandboxed Storage: All vehicle details (make, model, year, VIN, license plate), odometer readings, service records, fuel fill-ups, part costs, invoice totals, and photos are saved directly into your device's protected sandbox storage using Apple's native Core Data (SQLite) engine.
• No Central Servers: MoveSnap does not own, lease, or operate any cloud server or database that receives, processes, or stores your records.

ServiceVault contains zero telemetry, tracking, or surveillance libraries:

• No Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or telemetry SDKs.
• No advertising frameworks, marketing pixels, or user profiling SDKs.
• No data brokers, cross-app tracking, or fingerprinting.

We have no visibility into how often you open the app, which vehicles you track, how many miles you drive, or how much you spend on fuel or repairs.

Any optional upgrades (such as Full Unlock) are handled exclusively and securely by Apple through Apple StoreKit 2.

All financial transactions, credit card data, billing addresses, and Apple ID credentials are processed strictly by Apple Inc. under Apple's standard privacy policy. MoveSnap receives only an encrypted, pseudonymous cryptographic receipt from iOS confirming the purchase status. We never see or store your payment details.

ServiceVault only requests system permissions when strictly necessary to execute features you voluntarily invoke:

Permanent Deletion: Deleting a vehicle record within ServiceVault immediately purges it from your local database. If you uninstall the application from iOS, Apple automatically and permanently deletes the local sandbox storage and all associated data.

ServiceVault does not address, target, or knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), in full compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR-K. Because ServiceVault collects zero personal data from any user, no child data is ever processed or stored.
