DoseBell Support
We answer every email.
Write to support@movesnap.app and you will normally hear back within two business days.
It helps if you tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when the problem happened.
Common questions
My reminders are not appearing
Check, in order:
- Settings → Notifications → DoseBell — notifications must be allowed, and "Time Sensitive Notifications" should be on.
- Focus modes. If a Focus is active, allow DoseBell through it.
- Open DoseBell. Opening the app re-schedules everything, which fixes most cases on its own.
My phone is on silent and the reminder does not ring
On iOS 26.1 and later, DoseBell can use Apple's alarm system so a dose reminder rings through the silent switch and through Focus modes, the way your morning alarm does. Allow alarms when the app asks. On earlier versions of iOS, the silent switch silences reminders — this is an iOS limitation we cannot work around.
Will it work if I turn my phone off, or travel?
Reminders are scheduled on the device, so they work with no internet connection. DoseBell handles time-zone changes and daylight saving: your 8:00 am dose stays at 8:00 am local time.
Does my data sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Yes, if iCloud is on for DoseBell — your name → iCloud in Settings. The data syncs through your own private iCloud storage. We cannot see it.
I bought Unlimited but a new phone shows the free version
Open DoseBell → Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Purchases are permanent and tied to your Apple Account, not to the device.
How long is the trial, and what happens after?
Fourteen days with everything unlocked. After that, your two oldest medications keep working normally with reminders. Extra medications become read-only and stop reminding you — but nothing is deleted or hidden. Your full history and PDF export stay available whether you buy or not.
How do I add DoseBell to my watch face?
Press and hold the watch face → Edit → swipe to the complications screen → tap a slot → choose DoseBell → Next Dose. It shows your next dose, and changes to "due" on its own when the time arrives.
I logged a dose on my watch and my iPhone does not show it
If your iPhone was out of range, the watch holds the dose and shows "waiting for iPhone". It syncs by itself once the two are back together. Bring them close and open DoseBell on the iPhone.
How do I edit a medication I entered wrong?
Settings → My Medications, then tap the medication. You can change anything, including the schedule and the picture. You can also tap a medication from the Today list.
How do I send my history to my doctor?
Tap the share button at the top right of the home screen. DoseBell makes a PDF of your dose history that you can email, message, or print. It is made on your device and goes only where you send it.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app. That removes everything stored on the device. If you use iCloud, also remove DoseBell's data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
I need a refund
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves — but do write to us, because we would rather fix the problem.
Accessibility
DoseBell fully supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type up to the largest accessibility sizes, and a high-contrast mode in Settings. If something is hard to use, please tell us — we treat accessibility problems as bugs.
