1. Overview
ToolTally ("the App") is developed and published by MoveSnap. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and what is shared.
2. Data We Collect
ToolTally does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data you enter — tool names, borrower names, loan records, photos, notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework.
3. Camera Access
The App requests camera access to allow you to photograph tools and document their condition at the time of a loan. These photos are stored only on your device. We never upload or transmit your photos.
4. Notifications Access
The App requests permission to send local push notifications to remind you of upcoming due dates. All notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device. We do not use any third-party push notification services.
5. No Analytics or Tracking
ToolTally does not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, advertising networks, or tracking technologies of any kind. We do not know how you use the App.
6. In-App Purchases
ToolTally includes an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full version. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see, store, or process your payment information.
7. Third-Party Services
ToolTally does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs other than Apple’s own frameworks (StoreKit, Core Data, UserNotifications, AVFoundation).
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data exists only on your device. To delete all app data, simply delete the App from your device. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all stored records and photos.
9. Children’s Privacy
ToolTally is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
